Color of the Year 2017

Sherwin Williams just introduced the 2017 color of the year.
Posied Taupe - SW6039

This year, grey's have been the new "neutral". But the forecast shows to be transitioning to this warmer taupe-y color as a neutral.

This pallet is such a classic one but still so modern and crisp.

I am looking forward to using this color as soon as possible!

Before & After: Master Bathroom & Closet Remodel

Early this year I completed another large master bathroom renovation.
It was actually for the same wonderful clients who I did this kitchen remodel for.
There were many months of planning that went into this project, just as the kitchen.

I also had to pull a permit for this job since we are were adding onto their house. Let. Me. Tell. You... that was a learning experience all on it's own.

Here is what the space looked like before.

My Purposed Re-Design

Relocated the bathroom door opening.
Added a additional vanity sink.
Changed the tub/shower to a large walk in shower.
Kept the commode in the same location, but added a cabinet above for additional storage.
We added a 13'x6' area to the front of their house- which became their new master closet.
Changed existing window to a case opening for the new closet.
(just to list a few things)

Similar to the kitchen project, I let these clients run free with material and color choices. After all, it is their home, and I wanted it to reflect their personal taste and style.
It was a joy to work for these clients again. I was very thankful to be apart of another project for them.

Before & After: Chic Master Bathroom

Hello All!

Boy oh boy, it has been entirely too long since my last post.
My family and work life have kept me insanely busy.
But I would like to bring you up to speed with all my latest projects.

First off is a Chic Master Bathroom, that I just completed last month.

These clients gave me full range to re-design their space.
(Not going to lie- I was a little freaked out at first.)

But once I got their space into the computer, it really helped my imagination run free.

Here is what the space looked like before.

My Purposed Floor Plan

Okay.. I didn't go too crazy on the re-design. I had to keep their budget in mind of course.

Drum roll please....

After Pictures

This was such a fun project. Of course, like any remodel there are were many ups and downs.
(Ie. giant water leak in their utility room- ahhh!!)
But we got through them all and they are very pleased with how their bathroom turned out.
(& So am I!)
