Thrifty Thursday: Chalk Board Paint

I thought I would get back into my old blogging routine and bring back good ole’ Thrifty Thursday!
Today I wanted to show you some really fun ways to use chalk board paint.

First let’s start out by making our very own paint- and save a buck or two.

Follow the instructions from this blog
You can make the paint any color you'd like.

In the Kitchen
The bar front

Better than scrap paper

Fronts of cabinets

Inside the cabinets

Spice jars

What a great way to stay organized

Bed or Bath
On the sliding closet doors

The headboard

Why not in the bathroom even.

For Parties
Much more fun than those red plastic cups- right?

Obsessed with: Jewelry, Dark Hues & Long Hair

Along with the cooler weather, spiced candles and falling leaves...
I am obsessing over a few more things...

This trendy sideways cross necklace
Find it at this Etsy shop

Dark nail polish- screams fall & I am all about it right now.

I am also missing my long hair.
Thinking about growing mine out again.

Fall is Back!

Happy October everyone!
I couldn’t be happier that the cooler months are upon us. (Not that it feels that way in Texas--unfortunately)

I wanted to share some cute, fun and inexpensive ways to decorate for fall.
This would be easy to do with wine bottles also.

Use items you already have, no need to spend money on something that you will hide away for a year.

Paint pumpkins with your inital to dress up your entry way, or outside on the porch.

How cheap and easy is this!

Check out this blog post by Karin Lidbeck for a beautiful tablescape idea.

and here is one more great idea by Shanty2Chic

I hope you are all enjoying the nicer weather- where ever  you are.
