The Top 10: Gray & Greige Paints

Our favorite shade is currently gray.
It is sticking around as a designer's staple neutral color.
It creates a calming, sophisticated and modern effect.

We are pretty partial to Sherwin- Williams paint colors, I would like to share with you our top 10 colors to use.

Agreeable Gray - SW 7029
 Amazing Gray - SW 7044
Anew Gray - SW 7030
 Big Chill - SW 7648
Dorian Gray - SW 7017
 Functional Gray - SW 7024
Mindful Gray - SW 7016
On The Rocks - SW 7671
 Repose Gray - SW 7015
 Useful Gray - SW 7050

If you are thinking of repainting a room, your whole house or even your exterior- I recommend testing out one of these colors for your next project.

 Hanging Plants

The return of the house plan!
Adding lush greenery to any room of your home, really brings the outdoors in.

Don't be afraid to let the vines go wild, that is apart of the natural beauty.

Night Stands

This is an essential piece of furniture for every bedroom. But this year, be prepared to see the designs go to the next level!
Here are three nightstands you can scoop up at Target!

Wood Look Tile
From contemporary to shabby chic or a rustic decor- it is so versatile.

Wood look tile has been becoming more and more popular.
We have been putting it almost everywhere for over a year now, and the material just keeps getting better and better.

Marble Wallpaper

How pretty is this!?
I know we are all obsessed with anything marble- now we can put it on our walls!
.. Faux of course, but so killer!

Before & After: Super Glam Master Bathroom

Today we are going to do a little "Throw Back Thursday".
After looking through my previous posts, I noticed I never wrote about a beautiful master bathroom I completed in November of 2015!

I have no idea how I just skipped past it, this projects was and still is one of my favorites.

 Before Floor Plan

Before Pictures

We basically demoed/removed everything you see in the pictures, and started fresh.

My Proposed Plan

The game plan was to:

Have new cabinets made, including the addition of a large linen cabinet.
Remove all the existing wallpaper, prep walls and install new paper.
Jack hammer the slab to re-position the tub drain to accommodate for the new freestanding tub.
Tile the floor and shower.
Paint the cabinets, ceiling, trim and doors.
Install marble counter tops and all new fixtures.

And viola!

After Pictures

I had so much fun with this project- the client and I had such similar taste that it made it very easy to choose all of the selections.
It was amazing having it come together just how I pictured it.

Before & After: Master Shower

Here is one last project we finished at the end of last year.
Before

Demo

We demo'ed the marble backsplash of the tub and the marble enclosure of the shower.
We also widen the shower a bit, lowered the curb and raised the ceiling.

After
We installed new tile and accent glass to go with the current colors of their bathroom.

We installed a frame-less glass door to help make the shower feel more opened as well.
As well as a new LED light.

We installed matching tile on the tub to match the shower.

This project was a pretty quick one, but it really made a big difference in this space.

I am looking forward to the new year and want remodels come our way.
