If you are into the 'open shelves' concept, remove a few of your cabinet doors in the kitchen to help achieve a similar look.

 Removal Wallpaper
You can find all different prints and patterns on the web.
But you may have heard all the craze of Opalhouse for Target.
Well-- they also have removal wallpaper in the line!
And it's so GOOD!!

Design Trends: 2018

It has been far too long since my last post my friends!
My goal/plan is to get back into posting on a regular weekly basis.

I would like to start off with presenting this years design trends.

Patterned Tile
Subway tile is out and pattern tile is all the rage!

Open Shelving

No more upper cabinets.

Live Plants

We have taken part in this trend!
We are obsessed with all of our house plants.

Having living plants throughout your home, really adds color and life.

Black Fixtures

So sleak and modern.

Concrete

We are seeing the use of concrete for countertops, backsplash and flooring becoming more and more popular.

Terrazzo

What's so great about this product, is it has complete customizability!
And it works perfectly for flooring, countertops, backsplashes- virtually any surface and application.

Marble

Everywhere!

Two Tone Cabinets

Solid white cabinets are a thing of the past.

Mixed Metallics

Have fun mixing your metal finishes.
No need to stick to just one color.

Freestanding Bath Tubs

These luxurious tubs help create such a spa like space.

Keep these trends in mind, when planning your next project.

Before & After: Super Glam Master Bathroom

Today we are going to do a little "Throw Back Thursday".
After looking through my previous posts, I noticed I never wrote about a beautiful master bathroom I completed in November of 2015!

I have no idea how I just skipped past it, this projects was and still is one of my favorites.

 Before Floor Plan

Before Pictures

We basically demoed/removed everything you see in the pictures, and started fresh.

My Proposed Plan

The game plan was to:

Have new cabinets made, including the addition of a large linen cabinet.
Remove all the existing wallpaper, prep walls and install new paper.
Jack hammer the slab to re-position the tub drain to accommodate for the new freestanding tub.
Tile the floor and shower.
Paint the cabinets, ceiling, trim and doors.
Install marble counter tops and all new fixtures.

And viola!

After Pictures

I had so much fun with this project- the client and I had such similar taste that it made it very easy to choose all of the selections.
It was amazing having it come together just how I pictured it.
