Thrifty Thursday: Fall Treats & Decor

 

 

 

The beginning of fall is right around the corner!

 

I thought I would share some Pinterest finds with you- to get this time of year off to a great start.

My Personal Decorations

Mason jars with ribbon and a doilie on each of them. I filled each jar with sticks I collected from my in laws (gotta love free finds!)

And a $5.00 faux bouquet for my local craft store.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Muffins

(This is my new go to for a delicious fast treat)

1 Box- Spice Cake Mix
1 Bag of Cinnamon Chips- mini 

(Or the Pumpkin Spice Chips- mini)
1 Can of Pumpkin Puree

1 Cup of Water

Mix all the ingredients together

Bake 13-15 minutes at 350 degrees

 

Autumn Sangria

This is defiantly on my list to try,

Hello, November!

 

 

I can NOT believe that is it already November.
My how the time in flying by this year.

 

I am looking forward to what is in store for our month ahead.

This week my husband and I will celebrate our First Wedding Anniversary, and it is also my husband birthday!
We have my step-son's Grayson fifth birthday, our dog Chase's birthday annndddd my mother's birthday too!

There are probably more projects in store and I can't forget about decorating for Christmas!

The weather is even starting to get a little cooler here in Texas- we actually had our first bonfire last night.

I sure do love this time of year!

Fall is Back!

Happy October everyone!

I couldn’t be happier that the cooler months are upon us. (Not that it feels that way in Texas--unfortunately)

I wanted to share some cute, fun and inexpensive ways to decorate for fall.

This would be easy to do with wine bottles also.

 

Use items you already have, no need to spend money on something that you will hide away for a year.

 

Paint pumpkins with your inital to dress up your entry way, or outside on the porch.

 

How cheap and easy is this!

Happy October!

I LOVE FALL!  It is my absolute favorite time of year. A dream in life would be to live somewhere where it is fall all year long. If you know of this magical place, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. 

Here are some lovely fall-nuggets-of-goodness that I adore.

Jackets+ boots+ scarf’s = TRUE LOVE!
(It is still in the 80's here in Texas, but that's not stopping me from busting out the fall-wear.)
