 Change Out Old Hardware
Measure the existing hardware holes, and find new ones that match your style and taste better.
Such a simply update!
[Remember to keep the existing ones, so you can reinstall them before you move out.]

Change Out Light Fixtures
This is another easy to way to help bring your rental into the current decade!
[Remember to keep you existing ones in a safe place,so you can replace them before you move out.]

You may also remember a few years back, we updated our light-fixture with just some new globes, light bulbs and added a ceiling medallion.

Remove Cabinet Doors
If you are into the 'open shelves' concept, remove a few of your cabinet doors in the kitchen to help achieve a similar look.

 Removal Wallpaper
You can find all different prints and patterns on the web.
But you may have heard all the craze of Opalhouse for Target.
Well-- they also have removal wallpaper in the line!
And it's so GOOD!!

Chalkboard Wall
If you have been longing for a chalkboard wall, but aren't able to paint the walls of your rental-
you are now in luck!
You can find  Chalkboard Contact Adhesive on Amazon- Two rolls for $14 dollars!

Change Out Faucets
Another, super easy update- is to replace your current faucets with prettier ones!

Cover Ugly Flooring
You can find these Vinyl Floor Tile Stickers on Etsy.

Cover your existing drab concrete patio with these removable Composite Deck Pavers

DIY: Burlap Wreath

Spring time is finally upon us
(even though it certainly hasn't felt that way here in Central Texas)

So in lieu of the new season, I made a festive wreath for my front door.

Supplies Needed:

Wreath form
1 yard of burlap
Scissors
Ribbon

Steps:

Cut burlap into 1 inch wide strips
(length will depend on how thick your wreath form is)

Tie strip of burlap in a knot around the form

Continue this until you have completed the circle.
(you will need to move knots around accordingly to make sure the strips fit together tightly)

Finish by adding a decorative bow

Total cost: $10

Outdoor Spaces

Summertime screams lemonade, barbeques and gathering with friends. So why don’t you make a batch and start entertaining.

Creating a fun outdoor space is easy. You just have to decide what type of space you want.
Create an entire “living room” outside

This space has a sofa, side chairs, end tables, lamps, even a rug. And this over-size mirror really helps define the “room”

“Lounge-y Living Room”
Outdoor Dining
This is the perfect way to entertain during the summer months.

I love these large, rustic wooden tables, and check out the lighting above!
Keep the tablescapes light and simple
Pops of Color
Make your outdoor space exciting and vibrant with lots of color.

Use pillows, rugs, lamps and blankets to accent your space with bright shades.

Small Patio
Keep the same ideas in mind, but use properly scaled furniture like a café table for two.
Happy Entertaining!
