Nine Projects- Three Months

Hello!
It has been far too long my friend.
I have been neglecting my blog and I feel terrible about it.
We have been very busy with family, work and projects- many projects.

Today I would like to share with you all the things you have missed!
My Facebook and Instagram followers have already seen what we have been up to- but I wanted to fill you in.

Found this beaut on the curb side (in the rain- might I add!)

And spray painted it- of course!
We are using it in the garage right now.

Here is another curb side find - It's from Basset and was in pretty good condition.
My husband replaced all the drawer glides, sanded it down...

Painted and replaced the cabinet hardware

Then- I cut cardboard the size of the drawers and covered it with fabric to make this insert for all of the drawers.

Since we are using the dresser in our master bedroom- I decided to make new curtains, to tie in the navy blue.

I painted a wall in our living room. And we got a fabulous new rug to tie all the colors together.
(See that wing back chair in the corner-- I found that on the curb side- can you believe it!?)

My husband and I made this awesome work bench and bar for our garage a couple weeks back.

You may remember this Post-- from 3 YEARS AGO!

Well, I FINALLY painted my Grandmother's jewelry box.
And I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Another blast from the past- this coffee table (from the same Post)
I found this coffee table at the Goodwill for $15 bucks.
We finally fixed it up and made it into a--

Bench for our master bedroom- notice the nail head accent!

And last but certainly not least- my husband found this chair curb side.
I spray painted it and reupholstered the seat with fabric to match our other chairs

In the meantime work has also been crazy busy- I will be posting about my latest projects soon.

Hope all is well in your world.

Color of the Year 2014

Radiant Orchid
is the color of 2014

I figured- better late than never to write about this beautiful color.

A color scheme

In the accents

Use as just pops of color throughout a room

Why not as all over color?!

And you know I can't get enough of wallpaper!

This color will help spruce up your space by incorporating eye catching hues.
Try pairing it with deep hunter greens, teals, light yellow and even olive tones.

As always- be bold and daring.

Trending Now: Indigo

This regal color is popping up all over the design scene.

As I always say- if it's happening in the fashion world, you know we will start seeing it over in the design world ASAP.

Here are some beautifully decorated spaces with the vibrant color showing up all over the place.

Try out the fabulous color in your own home. Start small with a few accents or go big by painting a wall or two.

Obsessed With: Black & White, Maxi & Print

Here are just a few of my current fav’s.
Anything black & White
This color combination is so powerful. It’s bold but yet still sublet.
I also love when there is just a pop of color- like this

The Maxi

I’m in love with maxi dresses at the moment. Mostly because I am pregnant and they are so easy and so much more comfortable to wear than pants are.
I’ve been on the hunt for cute, cheap maxis where ever I go.
Fabric  Covered Canvas’s
An inexpensive way to add artwork and color to a room
I have three canvas’s I painted awhile ago that don’t go with the décor I have in this apartment. So I plan to cover them with a fun fabric asap and hang them in my living room.

What are you obsessing over as of late?
